Costa Roofing

Costa Roofing is a commercial roofing contractor. We don’t work on houses. Our crews repair, maintain and restore the roofs on warehouses, office buildings, retail centers, multifamily and HOA communities, and industrial and institutional buildings. The company’s focus has always been summed up in three words: REPAIR – MAINTAIN – RESTORE. Costa is headquartered in Lawndale, in Los Angeles County, holds California CSLB License #1061541, and takes on commercial roofing work throughout San Diego County.

For a San Diego owner or manager, that means one project manager who owns your building from the first visit to closeout. Behind that project manager is the same service, project and administrative team that runs all of Costa’s work. Every job gets the same written proposals, photo documentation and manufacturer-approved materials, whichever county the building is in.

How We Work

  • Commercial roofs only. Low-slope membranes, built-up and modified bitumen, coated roofs and metal on commercial, multifamily, HOA and industrial buildings. That’s all we do, so it’s what we know.
  • Documented from first visit to last. Every job follows the same sequence: a free on-roof inspection, an itemized written proposal with photos of each problem, scheduled work, and a closeout with before-and-after photos. It starts with a commercial roof inspection or, when water is already inside, with leak repair that traces the source before anything is fixed.
  • A straight answer on repair, restore or replace. Plenty of roofs only need commercial roof repair. Some are good candidates for commercial roof restoration with a coating system. Some are past both, and we’ll tell you so rather than sell a coating that won’t last.
  • Work that keeps your warranty valid. Costa is a Sika Partner contractor and approved by SOPREMA, APOC and Western Colloid, so work on those systems follows the manufacturer’s materials and details. On PVC membrane roofing, the warranty depends on who touches the roof.
  • One contact across a portfolio. HOA boards and asset managers with several buildings get one project manager, one set of records and, if they want it, one schedule through the ROOF PROTECT™ maintenance program.
  • Licensed and insured. California CSLB License #1061541.

  • Association memberships: Western States Roofing Contractors Association (WSRCA), where Mark serves on the board, and Roofing Contractors Association of Southern California (RCA).

Community

Costa was started to serve three groups: the people who work here, the clients who hire us, and the communities around us.
